i. Aw man, these otters were SO cute. I could definitely take one home with me and put it in my bath tub. I like the detail of water in it's whiskers, and also on it's seemingly waterproof fur. I chose to convert this shot to black and white to give a stronger depth of field, when it was in colour the otter seemed to blend into the background more than I would have liked.

ii. These lions were also really amazing. They weren't shy and came right down to the water. In this image, I liked the interaction between the lions. They seemed to be being friendly to each other even though they have the potential to be really really vicious. I also liked the fact that they weren't centered in the image but still command so much attention because the shadows to the left of them accentuate the detail in their fur and body outlines.

iii. Kids are always really cute at the zoo. This particular one had a lion back-pack on, getting into the spirit of things! And was pretty amazed by a particular emu.

iv. This zoo employee will probably pretty popular amongst CIT photography blogs seeing as he stopped to pose for a lot of people. I got a shot of him smiling for the camera but I didn't think it had the same effect as this shot, because he's actually doing his job in this one not just sitting there posing for a photo. I like the fact that you can see other figures in the background visiting the zoo.

v. Monkeys make me lean towards the belief of evolution. So much like humans.

v. And I just thought this picture was kind of cute.
